Mission Statement
The mission of the Mifflin County Industrial Development Corporation is to promote the growth of employment and income in Mifflin County by using technical and financial resources from MCIDC and federal, state, and local agencies and individuals to encourage and assist business and industrial formation, retention, and expansion.

As a resource for many State and Federal programs, MCIDC will work with companies within the County to assist them in securing loans, or grants where applicable, that are tailored to their needs, and walk through the application process with the appropriate Governmental authority.

MCIDC owns and operates the MCIDC Plaza, MCIDC Business Center, and the lands at the Mifflin County Industrial Park,; the Corporation leases and/or sells land and facilities to industrial companies. The Plaza is currently home to 28 small and medium size businesses. The MCIDC Park is a zoned industrial park designed for primarily larger companies wishing to build or purchase new facilities. A new limited access highway entrance and exit ramp within the Park allows easy access to U.S. Route 322. The Park is served by Juniata Valley Railroad, has KOZ sites available in small parcels. Companies at the Park include Trinity Packaging Corporation, GE Inspection Technologies, Greenbrier Rail, Clayton Homes, and Overhead Door Corporation.
